Makes me wonder why their not promoting it on the home page, like the banners for foxnewsradio.com and foxbusiness.com.

Did Fox.mobi not go live 8 months ago?

Raider, the 3/12 posts by Doc & I were duplicate posts announcing the initial launch of FoxNews.mobi. At that time, naysaying "bitch & moaners" were complaining and nagging that FoxNews.mobi was not on the FoxNews.com website.

My 6/17 post was simply an observation about the relationship between FoxNews and a mobile media marketing agency, Third Screen Media

The purpose of yesterday's post was to point out that this is the first time FoxNews is promoting FoxNews.mobi on their FoxNews.com website.

Raider, go back thru the Internet archives to verify for yourself that this week marks the FIRSTtime FoxNews.mobi has been seen on the FoxNews.com site.
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.foxnews.com

In the beginning the naysayers condescendingly whined that the likes of FoxNews are "just protecting their trademark by registering their dotMobi"

Then, dotMobi sites were developed...then the naysayers cried, "well the dam things redirect and the dotMobi sites are not being marketed"

Next, within the first hours companies start marketing their dotMobi Mobile websites, the critics start crying, "Oh, but the dotMobi marketing is in the wrong places!!"

Oh you mobi fanboys will never see another $xxx, xxx dotMobi sale, the Sedo Auctions will be a bust....doom and gloom, doom and gloom.....praying for failure....

Raider, give it time and they will start promoting FoxNews.mobi in other venues....I know that would bring you joy. ;)

Mr. Vison,

I just entered foxnews.com into my iphone and was taken to iphone.foxnews.com

I then entered foxnews.mobi and was taken to the same URL, On both occasions, the layouts were identical. Obviously the technology is available to automatically detect a wireless phone, so I'm having a difficult time understanding the need for separate TLD such as .mobi. Perhaps you can enlighten me.

Thank you.
