It's not about how the parked domains "look" anymore, rather how they will perform :)

Without the overhead, ie; parking companies employees, offices, affiliates, etc... You should be making a lot more. 30% to 40% at least, once you take out the middle-man.

Less expenses = more profits in your pocket.

What's so special about it?

We've been talking about it for years. Form a domainers' coop, get a respectable feed (e.g. Google) and cut the man in the middle. It's not brain science.

The difference is, domainers hardly ever get together to get the ball rolling, so when you're an army of one with financial resources like Frank Schilling, you just do it.

Don't hold your breath on participating during phase one at least. This is a "big boys" club.

Feed examples:

http://www.lasvegascpa.com
http://www.nyphoto.com
http://www.aviationlawyers.com

Nothing too exciting in terms of visuals.

I take it Frank's negotiated Yahoo ad rate fell through the floor? How does him leading a small handful of domainers over to a negotiated rate Google feed change anything? Take Kevin Ham, Frank Schilling, and anyone else you want to throw in there and Google will still eat their lunch in due time.

Wake me up when a group of domainers get together and start their own PPC company with an earth shattering level of transparency.

"Everyone who has joined to date, is pleasantly surprised when they see what their traffic is really capable of.”...Sure like the sound of that, would be nice for the rest of us to get going...form a co-op to get into the co-op...

I saw one of the pages for a product, and it was much like epiks, with links to overstock.com for products

It seems so much easier said than done, if domainers pool their resources into some sort of common co-op, it would be great, finding the board of directors who want the daunting headache is the hard part.

They obviously spent a large amount of time and money on marketing and a branding strategy,

"You will make significantly more money here"

But seriously, I wish them luck though, the industry needs something domainer friendly.

Hi,

I take it Frank's negotiated Yahoo ad rate fell through the floor?

That would maybe be true, but I think it is "Microsoft" that you would have to negotiate with...
as I think they now control yahoos PPC. Ever try to "negotiate" with "MS"?

If those three are example of what the "new" look is all about nothing really different. The guys are just getting a bigger cut from an ever decreasing pie. Really, how many type-ins is a name like lasvegascpa.com going to get?

I was expecting something bigger in the design department, something like a very slick whypark design (content feeds etc). A very slick mini-site business model is what I was expecting.

Hi,

I do not know about results yet... but there is this:

Looks Like the Early Loser From the InternetTraffic.com Transition is Oversee

"Since the announcement of Frank Schillings new monetization platform, InternetTraffic.com there has been some large portfolio movement over to the new DNS. Obviously the names were parked somewhere before the move so inevitably there were going to be some parking companies losing tens of thousands of domain, their traffic, and their money."

Much More At: Domain Shane

I hear you and there is something in that but I also figure that the opposite often applies. If a parked page looks too bland folks simply surf off and go elsewhere.

Hi,

Point of landing pages is not to keep people on them, its to get them to click off them and go somewhere else...

Sometimes "bland" can workout to be a thing of "beauty"...IMHO

Best.
