Join the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation for a day of service, celebration, and a sneak peek of the Ken Burns film, The National Parks: America’s Best Idea premiering the next night on PBS.

September 26 is also National Public Lands Day and entrance to all 391 parks is free.

I may head to the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Many worth things to see like the Wright Brothers Museum (Kill Devil Hills) as well as the Lighthouses (if open to public).
