I did it. However I got to the last screen and it asked me to pay for it!!!!
I got customer service on the line at 3am, and they go it for me for FREE.

I checked for availablity at Godaddy first, then registered to thru Register.com

I agree Register.com sucks bad I lost a great bunch of domains due to their shit customer service and them moving to a new system. Stay away I leterally lost 10s of thousands of dollars of domains through them. I personally really like godaddy but I would say anybody but register.

What do you mean you got it? The last screen show that I have to Pay USD35 for the name, and that is with a discount code!!, Where is the discount code...where is it free?

I later received an email from them, reminding me of the name which i intened to register..IT is not Free! Misleading and bad taste!!

Left Register many years ago. Went with another, can't remember who, then switched to GD. Still there, and now I have my own WWD.

If you do end up getting a domain for free, transfer it out as soon as you can. Their $35.00 reg fee is a joke. There are a lot of other great registers out there at 1/4th the cost.

if you search this site for GD coupons, you can get them for $6.99! then you could have bought about 5 .coms!
