Does anyone know a website that offers completely free domain names? I have already tried www.acidmist.com though!

there's usually always a catch to those types of sites....Just pay the $8 registration fee and get full ownership of the domain name.

You can get a free .tk at www.domain.tk but be aware that they use pop ups.

Why on earth would you want a FREE domain with some restrictions!!?? Even worse, that it's not rightfully yours

http://www.freenetname.co.uk gave away free UK domains

thing was they want you to use there isp - and if you wanted your domain to be transferred they want £97 !

I have had more trouble with "free domains" providers than I have had with NetSol even

If you have to use them - just get a very ugly and useless domain that you would not mind loosing to them.
