DotRegistrar.com offer some free expiring domain lists - 3 char, 4 char, New Drops and Premium Names.

Some of them aren't the latest, but still might be useful as a source of domains.

These lists seem to be very inaccurate. Just browsing through their "new list of deleted domains" and I found three of my own names listed -- and they're no where near being deleted.

But, you're right. A few of the better speculators definitely peruse these lists for a reason.

 

Unfortunately, they are really inacurate... I checked them and they contain domains expired and already registered months ago.

I have searched almost all possible free expired domain name listers and I should say that all of them suck. just a waste of time. You either get a 27000 items of garbage and need to sieve through it or you get something like, as one of the posters said, a month-old new registered domain. I think the only way to get a nice and cool expired domain name is either be a speculative by getting access to registrars database or be a speculative by getting access to the registrars database!! Otherwise the best you can get is letter-letter-number.com

I can't agree with you. I grabbered several domains using my website's expired domains list. These domains have good meanning and also have good traffic. I got 260,000 page views every day from these domains and made about $200 a day.

 

same format. same non-usefullness for all expired domain searchers. I know the money is not in the domains but in the serving expired domain name and brokerages. Well let me try your site too. I ll let you know what I think.

Well, sites as in LocalWhois can really help you filter out nice soon to expire domains you'd be interested in, but it's not free. For example dictionary domains, domains 3 characters or less, and keyword searching of course, etc..

 

I just noticed that LocalWhois is free. You can search for expired domains without even registering! It is a good resource for getting cool expired domains.
