Wasn't sure where to post this but I ran across this site and I thought it might help some people out who might not have the dough for a legal battle.

Internet and Intellectual Property Justice Project

"The Project is currently available to help parties in domain name disputes under ICANN UDRP dispute resolution proceedings. The Project is also available to help parties with copyright infringement notifications and counter notifications under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, as well as other trademark and copyright work that the faculty supervisors feel is appropriate."

Stanford Law School has a similar thing:

Neither one of them has ever taken a case.

The Stanford students apparently managed to respond to a c&d letter once.

Excellent! 2 choices!

Most likely because they're not really promoting themselves (though I recall
you said something about attorneys "barred" from revealing their stats, and I
don't mean physical :-D ) or there just aren't that many people who know.

I'll definitely keep those links as references, and probably spread word. But
only if need be with a disclaimer or so.

It's a shame...not too many are aware of them. And some need all the help
they can get...

I dont expect to win this one, the lawyers just pissed me off, and I told them that they can have the domain if they appologise, guess what... they didn't appologise.

I dont need luck, I need the ICANN regulations rewritten so that registering a domain with intent to resell can not be deemed a bad faith registration.

If I bought car at auction for $500 because I knew I could sell it for $1000.. by that definition I would of bought that car in bad faith.

Also by that definition every company in the world that resells a product for more than out of pocket expenses would be deemed as operating in bad faith. I really dont get why ICANN are so setting on Killing the secondary domain market, and whats worse they still preach the first come first serve registration..

"If the law is absolute their can be no justice" and you can quote me on this
