FreeCardMessages.com VS CardMessages.co - should I build my site using .CO version ?

Hello guys!

I'm going to develop a website that's similar to greetingcardmessages.com. The idea is helping ppl to write a message to their cards.

The best keyword domain for this kind of website: cardmessages.com was taken so registered FreeCardMessages.com & last month I registered CardMessages.co

And now I need some helps to decide which domain I should use. Should I go with .CO ? CardMessages.co ???

My recommendation: FreeCardMessages.com

If you're going to spend a lot of time on this site use the .com. People will get it easier than if you use a .co. If you use a .co you'll get everyone asking "is that .com?". Forward the .co domain to the site and keep it if it gets any traffic. The .com still has the right keywords in it to help with SEO.

The .com works as long as you have some free messages on your site. But you could still have a paid upgrade for more messages or something.
