Monetization value: I estimate that the site will potentially bring in around $500 per month at current stage of events. I've just monetized it, as you can read below, so i don't have exact details yet, but the revenue seems to be quite significant.

Monetization details: The site was just monetized via third party "free iphone/cash" sites via 1 (custom) image ad and several textlinks and currently yields massive amounts of subscriptions/followthroughs. Current ads clickthrough rate is around 35%. You can keep the same monetization scheme of course by signing up for same services and replacing my referal code with yours. No other monetization was added as of yet, as this one does nicely and I didn't figure out yet what to add next... Additional history details: this site was originally used for a contest drawing for a free iPhone that is now over. As such it got some significant coverage as a "free iPhone" site, including press releases and cross posts from other sites.

I believe that this domain name will only grow in value as more and more similar services will pop up online giving you more ways to monetize this. I *genuinely* believe monetization should be around $500/month now and much bigger later.

Some updates on July 09 2007:

1. I've RAISED the starting offer to $2,000 due to outstanding monetization results (see below).
2. Here's an update on monetization: last four days, July 6 to July 9, brought one completed referal a day. That's $50/day from only one of the advertised sites. Looking at these results, I believe total monthly income will be much higher that I originally predicted (good surprises are always good ).

Of course I don't expect you to take my words for granted, so PM me if you're seriously interested and I'll provide all the logs and other necessary data.

End of the month stats update for July.

6141 unique visitors, search engine traffic share is 57.4%.
Revenue: ~$850 USD
Google SERP: moved up to #1 for "free iphone", due to a succesful links development campaign.

Website was updated with new information, more monetization streams were added.

Very good highly targeted traffic, with approximately 50% clickthrough, and 70% North American audience.

Further stats are available by request. Still looking for offers from serious buyers at the prices indicated above. At this stage this is THE #1 free iphone information site, and it will be very easy to keep it in this top position with minimum effort.

Sadly, yes. Well, I mean... You can always pretend to be Canadian, but if CIRA finds out they'll take the domain. So it's really best to use a proxy party if you're outside of Canada, like a very trusted friend from Canada or so. I'm not sure if there's any legit businesses that offer Canadian domain proxy ownership services...
