Found myself wondering the other day - with a show of hands, how many domainers didn't go out and reg at least one new "Fund" domain after the big news? :)

For those who did, what's the best one (or more) you picked up?

I think you'll find newbies doing this hoping to capitalize somehow. I did it when I first got in the business but it is not a good domainer practice, it just doesn't yield results IMO.

I am sure there are people out there though that already own something with the word fund in it. Most likely with the combination of the words "Mutual" and "Funds".

I sort of take that as a given, so it's not really about either/or, but about quality - about not going about it in a "newbie" kind of way. After all, it's not for nothing that George K. would mention being happy about his recent *fund.com purchases now, and I certainly wouldn't consider him a newbie if after the news he had spent a little time checking to see if any gems had been lying around if he didn't have any or much already.
