Gamecuber.com

Passed on this a couple of days ago. Was that the right decision, or do you see $ ?

I think you would have a TM issue with Nintendo GameCube

I agree, right now GameCub is the biggest thing for Nintendo, so using a name w/ their trademark probably would lead to legal letters/faxes/notices being sent.

Also for the Video Game space PS2 and XBox rule much more of the marketshare...

Its hard to say. I have a similar gamecube domain and I've never had any problems with Nintendo.

Don't know about any potential TM issue here, but what in the world is a "cuber"?? I think you made a wise decision (in passing on this a couple of days ago). Take care.

Gamecuber isn't great English, but the language of videogaming is teaming with slang expressions - this just happens to be a near perfect word (and one that most people would understand, might I add!) for someone who plays the new nintendo Gamecube.

a golfer plays golf
a footballer plays football
a gamecuber plays the gamecube

I accept this doesn't work for all games though, but the reason is just to do with vowels being in the wrong places, i.e:

nintendoer
hockey'er

Oh well - I didn't buy the name anyway...
On reflection though, I think that had I bought it, I could have sold it. Oh well!
