Two part question:

1) I've read in several places - don't recall where - maybe this forum that if you have a domain with low traffic, but occasionally get looked up on the whois database - it might be worth holding onto. But I also read somewhere that the whois lookups could actually just be bots?
Is this true - that it may not actually be human interest for a low traffic domain?

2) I have a niche domain that receives okay, but small traffic and revenue - and used to appear to get looked up on the whois about once a week. Recently, it's been getting looked up 4-5 times a week (according to Fabulous). Is this a factor I should take into consideration for value? I haven't listed it for sale and if I did sell it on current revenue alone, I'd probably get less than 1K for it.

Do seasoned people factor in whois lookups when deciding when to hold a name or increase it's asking price if they want to sell? Or is 4-5 lookups per week moot?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/input.
