We think its worth much more than that.

www.homo.tv is the nearest live online comparison we know of, asking $50,000/year.


Any ideas of a value, or how to develop or market this domain?

Forget .tv they have lost the pulse!

Gay.us - market very new but personally I would not take less than $10k today - 3 to 4 times that in couple of years.

Currently no transfer of .tv domains which lowers value.

however, gay.us could sell for $$$$.

you mean you can't change registrars or you can't transfer owner of a .tv?


I don't see how inability to transfer registrar could significantly affect value.

more services like media streaming.

that's another issue which is transfer of dn servers or changing record types/zone files.

As far as I know anybody who's got a .tv can login to .tv control panel and change dns or zone file records to point the domain at the servers of any host any in the world.

Again, I don't think that is an issue.

What I'm wondering is does anybody in dnforum have any info on actual sale prices of .tv ' premium' names, i.e.,

www.new.tv
new.tv is an available premium name!
