If you buy a domain brand new, if it isn't getting type in traffic how do you get traffic to it?

How do you develop It? Do you put a website on it?

From a domaining perspective, just because one did not work, it's not the end of the line.

A lot of the Internet operates on this unspoken but understood "rule".

One web site => one domain.

The basic rules of domaining are:

One web site <= many traffic domains pointing in.

Develop, Advertise then Monetize.

Give the visitors something they cannot get anywhere else, dont just do another copycat site.

Advertise anywhere you can, maybe invest some money into adsense.

Monetize with YPN, Adsense, other PPC program or sell advertisinng direct to webmasters/companies

Buy Google adwords that read 'This domain name is for sale. Special Christmas offer.' when the keywords relevant to your name are entered :)

That's one thing I never thought of. :)

Did you ever try it?
Did it work?
