But, the renewals are over $ 19. a yr.
And, if you use a 20% discount coupon, that doesn't help alot.

So, you pay $ 15. to renew a .us domain when it cost them under $ 7.
When you have a number of domains that price difference is huge.

It cost less than $ 8. most of the other places.

I really don't know why professional domainers use Godaddy.
Too many games.

godaddy is one leading player which really pushes to extreme when they come to promotion... IMHO..

You have to remember, about 95% of their customers are non-domainers, and have under 10 domains. They do not have a problem paying $20/yr for a domain, that as domainers, we can renew with a promo code or elsewhere for $6/yr.

I would never register or renew anything at Godaddy without a promo code.
