God, I miss Napster so bad...

It's amazing how music brought people together from every corner of the world, as through Napster once upon a time. I can still remember how my MP3 collection grew from zero to thousands, and got to know dozens of pleasant chat mates, eventually, at the time Napster was dying, my Mac got even more visitors than the stupid site I am struggling with now.
Those were the days! I guess here, or even the domain stuff itself are just some kind of subsitutes for Napster to me, a very costly one.

I ran my first hard drive right out of space due to Napster. Burned lots of CD's, still have them. Kazaa supports even more music than Napster did, I usually look for 'entire cd", and generally get lots of hits.

I only have "WinMX" installed. Most others have Spyware. Also, there are hacks available for some of them that allow users to see EVERY file and download ANY file from your harddrive, without you even knowing it.

If you want Kazaa, make sure you get Kazaa Lite - it's a hacked version with all the spyware crap taken out.

I have to admit that most of the services are so overloaded these days. Anything other than the most popular of songs are queued with like 100 people. It's getting ridiculous.
