I chose the wrong paypal option...

But i suppose you can't have something for nothing. Already regged 50 domains for $3.24 so i don't mind supporting godaddy abit :)

Note that the email service that you added with your purchase is free for the first year, but they will charge you $10 each additional year automatically. If you do not want to use their email service, make sure you edit your account in the Renewals section and choose to cancel the email renewals any traffic fees associated with it.

How exactly can I cancel the email service?

hpgoodboy, go to manage account, then go to the bottom right, it will say Manage Renewals or something.

You can cancel this "when it expires" there!

Thank you also to the poster who let me know this! I got a great domain today

NW Start checking out, then after it asks you how you will use thoes domains, it will say "Expert Mode" or some other mode, near the bottom.

I think its on the same screen as "how long you want to register the domain"

If you need anymore help just ask

Thank you Duncan. Figured it out after couple of tries. When you are already logged in then the expert option does not come up, I needed to register the name from their main site to get it working. Thanks for the assistance.

Help! I just tried registering a domain but USA1 does NOT lower the fee to $4.24!

Am I doing something wrong or am I too late for this promo?

The promo is now over. USA6 code works (which lowers your cart by $1) but USA1 code does not work any more. Godaddy had to end the promotion 2 days early because they hit their break even point.

Thanks alldig, for letting me know.

Too bad for GD, I'll just go and register my domain at myvaluehost.com for 4 bucks. Same enom registration without all that GD advertising clutter and at a better price too!

Isn't there a limit for 5 domains there, though, that you can reg for that price?

Thanks,
Rob

On Howard Stern they said that for April (or 'till they reach their quota) instead of USA6 and USA1 they know accept code AF0401 which gives you a $4 discount on .COM, .NET and .ORG names.

Can anyone confirm this ? I have tried this out and it only works when you purchase an additional service.
