Saw a Godaddy advert on digital TV last night - probably nothing new for you guys in the US, but it's the first time I've ever seen a domain co advertising over here.

On top of that, when I go to Godaddy now, the prices are all showing in GBP instead of USD.

I caught one the other week on 'Dave' late at night, I was equally as surprised! Wasn't as risque as I have been led to believe Godaddy commercials can be, but a surpirse nonetheless...

It is probably some sort of a smart feature.

They track your IP and see that you're from UK - so you get your local currency there ;)

Try going to GoDaddy via this Proxy (This has a US IP) :: www.cloya(.)com

Cheers!

Wow, that's new. UK pricing, awesome! :) It still gives me the option of paying in dollars (I think), so that's good.
