On June, 14, 2006 company Majordomo (one of the largest Russian the Internet a hosting of providers) had been received the notice from company GoDaddy.com in which it is spoken, that domains of 1399 clients Majordomo from this day are blocked. The reason resulted in the notice - obviously false.

Why for the leading registrar of domains of a world level blocks almost one and a half thousand domains of Russian hosting provider, referring to a false information Majordomo have not understood. All attempts to clear a situation in anything have not resulted. Domains continue to stay idle.

Company GoDaddy did send a letter to a support service of company Majordomo informing that domains of 1399 clients Majordomo from this day are blocked. The reason - ostensibly infringement of the agreement of the user services from the side of Majordomo. You can familiarize with this letter here

The basis for blocking ostensibly became complaints from Spamh us.org (the company engaged in support of a database of ip-addresses of servers which have been convicted of dispatches of a spam) that clients Majordomo are engaged in this dispatch. This statement not only has no under itself absolutely any proofs, but also is obviously false. As the proof references to the complaints addressed Spamh us.org to GoDaddy.com

The first complaint, SBL 36165

The second complaint, SBL 42891, does not concern at all to Majordomo, speech in it goes about one of clients of company Peterhost. Without comments!

The reasons which have induced GoDaddy.com to similar actions are not clear. Nevertheless, unchecked information Spamh us.org in GoDaddy.com was found the sufficient basis for blocking almost with one and a half thousand domains and their change DNS of servers on:

Not only that in Majordomo preliminary it has not been directed any warning of such actions, but also in reply to the inquiries sent to service GoDaddy.com (Spam and Abuse Department) acts one answer only. In brief it can be reduced to the following: pay, and we shall renew work of your domains!

In the unwrapped variant it looks as follows:

1. To pay 199 $ for each domain and it will restore
2. To pay 50 $ for transition to other registrar
3. To wait the terminations of registration period of domains at GoDaddy.com and register them anew.

The method of business dealing shown by the registrant company, is possible to name at least not civilized. Certainly, any of the offered items cannot arrange Majordomo. First of all it is very insulting, for an innocent clients who do not concern in any way to strange attempts of enrichment GoDaddy.com.

Majordomo is concerned very much with this situation and try to resolve it maximum operatively. Now prepares the collective claim from owners of the blocked domains, among which not only physical and large legal persons, but also official bodies of the countries CIS.

The second day a hosting provider tries to achieve the answer to non-authorized actions GoDaddy.com. The answer to letters and bells was only secondary offer of payment of sums of money as unique variant of the resolution of conflict.

It is a pity, that one of leading registrars in the world is engaged in unreasonable blocking of domain names, depriving with their owners of an opportunity of using; as, at least, the "extortion" of money from hosting provider company for restoration of the domains blocked deliberately seems unworthy.

Having spent 36 hours on fruitless negotiations with GoDaddy.com and not having achieved any result, we would like to set publicly to this company some questions on which we hope to receive answers:

1. Who has entitled the registrar company at the will and whim to deprive the owner of the domain of an opportunity to use it, completely blocking access and having changed without its knowledge dns records of the domain?

2. Who and how compensates to our clients the charges suffered because of unavailibility of sites and e-mail?

3. Why on the basis of two unchecked complaints which are not having to Majordomo absolutely any relation, the registrar company blocks 1399 domains of our clients without any warning?
