godaddy.com - problem?

I register a name 2 days ago at godaddy.com and it still doesn't function. When I checked the domain status it shows "Registry updates pending."

do you guys have the same problem at godaddy? how long does it take for domain to function after registration? Other ISPs seem to update domain right away.

it's my first time using godaddy.

I have several domains with godaddy, never had a problem like that, always been updated quickly for me.

i use GoDaddy on a regular basis. Never had the problems you've had.
? Did you rec' the email confirmation after you registered it? Has that come too you yet? What extension is it?

I thought godaddy fixed that. A few people lost domains that way :-(

I use GoDaddy often. I once had an issue where a defunked script of their's charged my credit card but didn't register my domain list. I issued a ticket on their support system and they had it fixed in a couple hours time. Don't know if this is related but either way their support has been good for me.

it's .com. I called them up, they said it shouldn't happen and they will fix it by tomorrow. I'll check it again and update you guys.

They accept that it's problem from their site.

Good - that means it's your domain, they just need to fix their records.
