I bought a couple of domains registered at Godaddy, the seller initiated the push, I got the email instructing me what to do, but when I log in Godaddy and try to accept the account change it says:

Account change can not complete

Reason: Action cannot be performed by your account.

Support is worthless, won't even address the question after 48 hours I just get canned replied. Has anyone seen this before?

When you usually change the account you need to click accept an account change there is going to be a transaction id and a security code fill the field with the datas received in the email.
If this is what you are doing I have no other solution exept to call their "fantastic" long distance customer service number and wait anywhere between 5 and 35 minutes
PS you are probabbly clicking on pending accaount change

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I got that error message after entering those details. And, yes, I woudln't even have posted here if Godaddy's support was even minimally helpful.

I can think of areas they could have made better use of those millions they spent on stupid super bowl ads.

PS I'm not clicking on pending account change

well as long as you both have go daddy accounts, there is a 20 day expiration for change of accounts after they are first generated, not sure if the 60 day transfer rule would apply cuz it is not a transfer technically, hmmmm... any more details

I never had any problems transfering with them. I called Customer Service once, internationally, and had the problem solved immediately. I don't remeber how long I waited, although I am quite sure no more than 5-10 minutes maximum. It could be my luck, or your bad luck. Maybe customer service has high and low peak hours. I think you can reinitiate the transfer, and I would try calling customer service. Good luck.

I never had any problem moving domains around with Godaddy accounts. I made few support calls and waiting time was no more than 6 minutes at most.

Try calling them instead of emailing. Sometimes communicating through emails doesn't give a clear picture of your problem.

Good luck.
