I just got off the phone with godaddy and they say they have changed their policy and now charge $2.00 per domain for cancelled domains. In my case there were 150 of them but they "helped me out" by only charging $1.00 per domain.

Is there still a registrar that doesn't charge a cancellation fee?

That's absurd.

Moniker is only $0.25. There are others out there but I try to stick with one I know and trust.

You should bring this up to Adam. If he wants to make gd more attractive to domainers, gd needs to get rid off a couple stupid rules.

Dynadot for example.

Doesnt surprise me, Godaddy likes to charge for everything. I mean they charge you for the "privilege" to do ppc parking.

GoDaddy is tasting your wallet :D

Personally, I don't care. I think domain tasters (and kiters in particular) are the lowest ring in the domain food chain.

lol

I thought Godaddy didn't allow tasting? I wouldn't blame them.

I think the tasting fee only applies for domain tasters, not for cancelling just a few domains a month.

The only registrar I have seen that accepts refunds that is trying to stop domain tasters.

That is crazy! I find it hard to believe anybody would taste domains over there.

I don't use them anyway unless I get a push from sale. Then off to moniker when the renewal is close or a sale is at hand.

Dynadot $0.00
Moniker $0,25 (but their reg prices are lower than Dynadot)

GD: Lots of baits and the same amount of traps. I’m trying to stay away but sometimes can't resist some deals (.tv $10.00).

I am moving 17k out of Enom, it's like pulling teeth.

Not Enom's fault just systems and epp codes and domain approvals all over the place.
