they do have a domain buy service. I don't think you have anything to lose by following up on it.

IIRC, they do have a brokerage service. However, the best way is to give them a phone call at +1480-505-8877

I have got few off those in last weeks.
They are idiots. I replayed that I will not consider anything under $xxxx, and they replay 2nd time that the buyer is prepared to pay $500

I once tried to use that service as a buyer. They almost blew the whole deal because of delays... and the only info they will convey to the owner is an offer price, no details.

In the end, I demanded a refund (and got it) then contacted the owner directly. Ended up with the domain for less than I had offered anyway because I was able to explain to the owner how easy the transition would be.

I got these emails on names in the past...I think it is Godaddy trying to buy the names, at least in my case..AND they always take a week to reply to each email and are very rigid on the offer, which has always been shitty.

I sold the domain onse using this service. After the price was agreed they sent me and the buyer to the escrow.com. In general everything was ok.

Received a good offer and might just accept it.
Godaddy's Terms of Service are a little hazy though... seems like escrow.com is a must here.

My understanding is they use Escrow.com if the sale price is $500 or more.

Successfully concluded the transaction.

The support @ Godaddy's "domain buy" service was responsive. Like Chuckles2 pointed out, they use escrow.com exclusively when the price exceeds $500.

I have recived quite a few offers from them.
Never sold anything.

All were extreme low ball offers.

I've done several transactions there and all have gone through without any problems, albeit for lesser amounts. They seem pretty legit on the sales channel.

Got a major one coming up for auction on the 18th on GreatDomains (Sedo)...we'll see how that one goes!
