Hello everyone,

I just picked this up
DentalOffice (x) in

I was thinking to develop in this way... DentalOfficeIN/Ontario/Toronto
I am not sure if that would work for SEO... Dental Office in Ontario Toronto ????

That is my question

Now my wondering is what you guys think and what would you valuate this at? I really like it but I like lot of things :)...

Thanks:eek:k:

The .in will probably be treated as a keyword in the search engines' eyes. Would be nice if you have dentaloffices.in as well.

the idea and keywords are top flight, but the extension is cc specific, so se's may 'regionalize'

Good luck!

Awful investment if you ask me if your targeting Torontonians. .ca would rank higher and index better.

What I know of SEO is that the extension, in this case .in, will NOT be treated as a keyword in the search engines' eyes.

When it comes to ranking and indexing, you have to log in to your Webmaster controlpanel in Google and manually select the country you want to target your website to. This way Google will know who the target is and when to show your website, if you don't do that then Google will think you are targeting India as a default.

If you do your SEO in the right way, it is a nice domain name. But one thing is SEO and ranking high, the other is how many people in Canada for example would want to click on a domain name they would think is foreign. When people search for dentists they are looking for dentists nearby, with the .in-extension people might be (wrongfully) thinking that your website is for residents in India.

Good luck with your project and best regards,

M. Unal

Hi again,

If you look at Google Trends and Google Keyword the term "Dental Office" is not used as much as "Dental Clinic" in India. If you had "dentalclinic" in, it would be worth (in my opinon) around $1K, but "dentaloffice" in is only (still in my opinion) max. $20. Sorry.

Good luck and best regards,

M. Unal
