Things I noticed:

1) 10 Names sold for over $1,000; up to $3,405. 24 Names sold for $500-$999. 58 Names sold for $250-$499. 81 Names sold for $100-$249. 26 Names sold for $50-$99. 23 Names sold for $25-$99. 9 Names sold for $14-$24. 47 Names sold for $10. 15 Names sold for $5.

2) Personal Names in .us sell for a lot apparently (who knew?)

3) $250 appears to be a sweet spot/point of mental resistance for bidding. The most names ended between $245-$255.

4) I hope most people who got the singular name they wanted found/picked up the other one

5) Grapejuice.us is a steal compared to the other two juices

6) Some of the $5-$10 names are as good as some of the more expensive names

As Frank Shilling mentioned in his most recent blog article, sometimes it is wise to not sell.

I hold only a few .us names (acronym + 2 generics) for the last few years and have turned down what I considered really lowball offers for them.

This sale today shows that the value truly does increase with age (especially if the quality is there.)

Many were too high in my opinion.

Some yes. But I work in the field with so called "Brick & Mortar" clients on a daily basis, and I've found over the last year or so a lot of my clients wanting .us over even .net or .org. All they knew about before was .com, but they like the idea of .us. What happens happens. I've been buying bargain .us names for quite a while. Will wait, hold, and see.
