Unless it would be an affiliate site, don't ever delve into a web site where you are not familiar with the subject matter. Since you don't golf, it's best to take a pass on this one. However if you are "speculating", not developing "Go for it!!". As our population in the US ages, so to will our TV formats and commercials. I'm betting golf will be right up there with Viagra commercials.---lol.

Hope that helps!

I would agree pod if we were talking about a "content" site.. but I am simply looking at products...

Do they spend online...?

I'm not looking at "how to improve your swing" type stuff...

Golfers do buy online. If they do buy online most of them buy the big ticket items at established websites. You could probably get away with selling low dollar items/golf supplies.

In truth most golfers like you said buy offline.

Golf balls sell VERY well online as there is not a lot of overhead and the shipping is cheap.
Also golf clubs can be purchased for less online for the most part.

CJ has a couple of really good affiliate golf programs if that helps you at all.

I like it Bid :), cute names work for me.

My brother is a Golf equipment salesman. I keep bugging him to be my online supplier but he's too scared Nike will find out about it.

dang, probably the only person replying here without a plat account :(

Anyhow, it doesn't matter if you have underwears to sell, anything can be sold (unless undies are used lol) eew anyways point is if you can get a good wholesale priced product it can be very nice. as i have many many eCom businesses up at the moment i can tell you that atleast 50% profit margin, decent advertising on google, good looking site those three things can get you some decent profit coming in. in the meantime big point is to watch for competitive prices. Today many small companies compete who give excellent support, excellent prices so you have to rely practically on prices you give to clients.

for any other information or related issue/questions feel free to contact me. oh and if you need help in setting up a shopping cart contact me anytime
