For Sale Good Drops ?

Hello.
I would like to know if anyone here, or anyone else you might know had grabed a GOOD* expired domain ?

The reason for asking this, is because i suspect NETSOL (VERSIGN) is not droping any GOOD domains.
I think they are definately keeping them for their new WLS.
I might be wrong, But Can anyone input?

*GOOD:BY good i mean a Single dictionary domain or a great phrase, e.g example.com

Thats why I am asking if anyone got any good drops lately (1-6 months), or if anyone knows of someone who did.
There are at least 18 domains that i am waiting to drop, some (5) since 2000.
Thats ridiculous !

Nic, if NetSol dropped 100 great names tomorrow and if the WLS is introduced in three months' time, these 100 great names would in turn all have an WLS immediately placed on them.

So NetSol would actually stand to make more by dropping names now as it would get 100 x $6 for its registry, in addition to the 100 WLS payments in three months' time.

But I agree that it's extremely frustrating to watch a good name whose expiration goes back years, just sit there in limbo.

I'm certain there have been some very good names that have dropped in the past six months.

Managed to reg. coventrycity.com 2 days ago, first registered in 97, common name of English soccer team and phrase for the city of Coventry, co.uk version taken in 96, Any opinions?

Excellent catch davey ! Good to see it going to someone from the city itself and you'll obviously promote your area and team with it.

Hopefully the football team are good folks and won't try to pry the name from you, as happened to the guy who had the name Corinthians.com.
