One of the people in my office registered some domains based on companies (their company names). The names are trademarked.

The domains themselves are worthless, maybe very low $xxx to someone looking to start a business.

What did he do? He emailed these businesses asking if they wanted to buy the domains for $10,000.

So, when will he get a WIPO? :sigh2:

He also might get a suit against him for 100k for diverting business on a TM

dunno it has been known to be profitable, risk getting a wipo but worth the gamble for just $10 i suppose......there are lots of people making serious cash from TM's some of the big domain portfolios are,i mean there is a great typo of FB for sale on here for over $13k,you take your chance but it can be rewarding.

Under WIPO T & C'S you agree you cannot sue for anything to with the domain including filing fees, so as long as you keep it below $1500 they should take the offer as it will save the hassle and time plus another $3k in lawyer bills as well.

Good shout on setting up another account though with BS details...........
