$50 ?, Dreamer, you know you are a dreamer
Well can you put your hands in your head, oh no!
I said dreamer, you're nothing but a dreamer
Well can you put your hands in your head, oh no!
I said "Far out, - What a day, a year, a laugh it is!"
You know, - Well you know you had it comin' to you,
Now there's not a lot I can do

Dreamer, you stupid little dreamer;
So now you put your head in your hands, oh no!
I said "Far out, - What a day, a year, a laugh it is!"
You know, - Well you know you had it comin' to you,
Now there's not a lot I can do.

Well work it out someday

If I could see something
You can see anything you want boy
If I could be someone-
You can be anyone, celebrate boy.
If I could do something-
Well you can do something,
If I could do anything-
Well can you do something out of this world?

Take a dream on a Sunday
Take a life, take a holiday
Take a lie, take a dreamer
dream, dream, dream, dream, dream along...

Dreamer, you know you are a dreamer
Well can you put your hands in your head, oh no!
I said dreamer, you're nothing but a dreamer
Well can you put your hands in your head, oh no!
OH NO!

I recognize it. It's a song by Supertramp. Not bad either.

No need to be that way. People may hate lowball offers... but its a part of this business and always has been. Everyone wants more for less, its just how it is. If someone offers me $50 for a name I know is worth more, I tell them what I think its worth... I dont sing to them. Not everyone has enough knowledge about this business to make an educated offer. You may also miss out on better offers doing that. It never hurts to counter offer.

To be honest it was a bit "tongue in cheek" and probably wouldnt send it myself,
much as I might wish to

Instead of stating taking offers in a thread, just put taking offers starting at $xxx amount. This will prevent the lowball offers, however, no one does it and only complains of offers they receive that aren't in their million dollar price range they think they should receive on a $5 domain.

I, too, hate lowball offers. The best response that I've heard was actually no response. One really famous domainer won't respond until the fourth request.

Or, he'll respond with a simple, "no thank you" or something like that.

I agree, You cant always assume that low ballers are familiar with the Domain Aftermarket. The last thing you want to do is throw out insults and start a pissing match, And that goes for any business your in.

The road to success is to build bridges, not burn them down.
