They may go down but they shouldn't lose the rank totally as long as the site comes back up.

With the new google feature on expired domain names they are suppose to lose all PR and all link pop too.

Doesn't actually happen that way though (yet anyway). I have several that I bought for the traffic and link pop. When I threw up a new site, I lost the PR for a cycle or two, but it came back up to where it was originally, and I didn't add in more than one or two incoming links, so that wasn't the cause of the PR returning.

Depends on Google....for awhile thay were updating about once a month....but for the last couple months, the cycle has been stretched out to the point where you're not sure when one cycle ends and the next begins.

They seem to be changing the way they do things and it hasn't gone smoothly.

None of his sites at domainsrank show any PR in my toolbar. Something went wrong. Domains seem cheap though.

But it doesnt always work.

interesting site.

Notice how thier PR5 site now has PR0.

Wonder if the site needs to be identicle to the old one in order to maintain or go up in PR..

Can't happen. What if the site was updated or completely changed layouts by the real owner?

So from what I'm reading with Google, a domain I have that had great link pop at google when I got it and lost several a months or so later....it might get the same amount of links back after Google goes through another cycle???

Thx...
