Interesting quote from the article:

“Ahhh, long live the American dream. How to get rich without actually doing anything of any value to anybody whatsoever. Of course, sometimes it works.”

This quote seems to be wrong:

“One man unlikely to be laughing all the way to the bank is Stuart Lawley, the British half of company ICM Register. The internet entrepreneur is reputed to have spent millions buying up .xxx addresses in the hope that a campaign to create a kind of virtual red-light district on the internet would be successful.”

I don't think the reporter understands
very much about domaining or commerce
in general.

To say that people may "get rich without
actually doing anything of any value to
anybody whatsoever" is very childish and
shows a considerable degree of jealousy
on his part...

Either that, or he is 'forced' in to making
such comments so as to identify with readers
(or stir controversy!).

Unfortunately, these days most 'news' is boiled
down in to such mindless pap that people simply
won't read/understand/appreciate a thoughtful
or detailed article.
