It would likely get a disproportionate number of webmasters (and Alexa Toolbar users), and thus have a biased Alexa Ranking. Just like some domain sites.

"Why doesn't Google chase after the domain?"

Why should they?

Let's see, we have some snake oil salesman who is selling a scheme which requires people to pay money to Google.

And they should stop him, why?

Exactly - kind of like how Calvin Klein admitted that they don't crack down hard on bootleg clothing - since people are wearing CK on their chests, and they don't pay a dime - free advertising.

its all hype theres alot of sites like this most likely what the ebook will say is to make a site like the one they just got the ebook from buy adwords on google and advertise your new "site" hype the thing up as much as you can and see the suckers buy your ebook on most of the sites it says we are making $5000+ a month with this they most likely copied the original site which may well be making that much a month from the suckers but they actually arnt its a spinoff of those :how to make a fortune on ebay" ebooks which are pretty much the same thing sell the ebook on ebay to more suckers which will sell to more suckers soon you will see the google ebook "market" get flooded with thousands of sites selling the book for pennies as they cant sell it for $$ anymore right now i wouldnt be suprised if there are huindreds of sites selling the same ebook.

im sure google doesnt mind one bit as they are making money from it themselves
