I just read that Google has launched "Adsense for Domains" - a new way for domain owners to park their domains directly with Google.
In the big picture, I think this is good a thing, as it is a good endorsement of the value of the industry. The fact a leader like Google has jumped into the domain space may cause other industry players to follow in some way, whether by acquiring domains or providing services.
In the short term however, it will shake things up - it will be interesting to see how Google's payouts match those provided by parking companies and the value-added services they provide.
If the Google roll-out includes all North American publishers, then .ca owners should be able to sign up if they wish.
