I will make up example to illustrate the situation:
A popular site with 1000s of visitors a day go to pcdirect.net to buy computers. But something is wrong not sure what, the owner has to use pcdirect.com and stated on the homepage something wrong with the domain registrar hopefully will get the site running again at pcdirect.net. The reality is, the domain is under pending delete stage. Even though says expiration isn't until 2007 for some reason.
I did a trademark search and the owner does have the words pcdirect registered. Anyway, would you grab the pcdirect.net domain if you are given the opportunity? Would this lead to legal problems? Any thoughts?
