what's so appealing about 3 letter-number domain names anyway?

I can understand if the letters-numbers meant something like:

911.com, 411.com, 123.com, t85.com, etc.

But what is something like j0o.com worth?
It's 3 letters-numbers, but it's still not easy to remember or say.

Just my 2 cents... ;)
