Grabbing a 1and1 drop

What's the best way to grab a domain that is with 1and1. I've tried to catch a couple over the weekend with SN and NJ and they both missed them both times.

They don't have prerelease agreements AFAIK so the domains just drop and it's free for all. I think it was just back luck that both SN & NJ failed to catch them.

BUT some of the domains at 1&1 are just pushed to Domcollect as soon as they expire. So they have some sort of prerelease agreement with themselves...
