Hi all,

I'm not thinking of listing with them, but i've heard quite a
few people now say that GreatDomains.com have demanded
a no (or very low) reserve on their domain listings, and so I
wondered if any of you could share your thoughts or experiences
on this...

Essentially, is GreatDomains.com a good enough auction venue
these days for them to be telling buyers this?

Cheers,

Sedo doesn't advertise like they used to. So be prepared to spend $$ to promote your own domains.

Yeah, I think you're right. Bit of a 'lucky dip' these days,
on auction sales...

I do not think Great Domains is nearly the quality it was before it was aquired by SEDO. I would never put a quality domain name for auction there without a reserve price that I am comfortable with selling the domain for.

Placing a low, or no reserve, on a domain being auctioned with the HOPE that bidders are going to start fighting over it is a disaster waiting to happen.

Excellent point. I agree entirely..
