Im jsut wondering if in america you would call guesthouses , well ...... guesthouses.

I know we have them in the UK but would you call guesthouses motels, hotels or something different.

This is simply due to the fact that im trying to value a domain name and so need to see if the word is used regularly in the US and well as the UK.

The term is understood here but the terms motel, hotel and "Bed and Breakfast" are most common in the States.

using guesthouse when you mean motel would be very confusing here
