Is there a place where people can go to hire a hacker?

Thing is for the past year I have been having trouble with a rival website, I have a regional forum and my rival also has a similar site.

The admin of the site has been doing all he can to destroy my site including poaching members and entering racist terms on the site and then calling the Police.

Last Saturday I was in town and was approached by a member of the rival forum who tipped me off about hackers being hired to destroy my site, I just laughed it off but a few days later my site was hacked.

Just been wondering if there is a place where you can hire someone or if it was a coincidence.

PhpBB ... Google "phpbb hacks" ... u could hack it yourself .

Script kiddies do it all the time..

DOS should do the trick for you i guess..or you should consider buying his site

Target his revenue. Harass his advertisers. If he has AdSense, should be easy to get that disabled. k:

You can also post his link on every scummy website you can find. Spam it everywhere and often. That could get him pounded in the search engines and possibly dropped.

There are forums where hackers meet so you could try approaching them. They are not all trustworthy though
Personally I would maybe settle this the Glock way but it's just me
I would suggest that you scrub your logs for unusual activity and if you have IP addresses that point to the competition feel free to post the evidence (name and shame).

if its a real problem and if a lot of money is involved you need to take a non-web strategy here. First you need to figure out how far you are willing to go and what risks are you willing to take. Once you figure that out there are a number of things that people can do for you to "take care" of the problem.
