Have you ever taken out a loan for a domain?

If so, where did you get the capital from, and are you brave enough to tell us which domain or how much?

I'm just curious and was thinking of doing this to increase my portfolio. As long as I can make more than the cost of the money, but I'm not sure.

Thanks.

Thanks MediaHound. Is Domain Capital someone you use or have used?

I am familiar with DomainCapital, DomainBackers and BuyDomains for domain financing. But I'm curious as to what other people are using. Because of the variation of rates, I wonder if it would be better to use anything from home equity, to bank personal loans to financing on Prosper.com or something even more creative.

I sold a few domains to buyers who used Domain Capital...As a seller, it was a fairly smooth transaction...no problems.

I used domain capital. I'm not sure what are the competitors rates, but they charge 15% / year which is really high.
