Have you ever traded domains, and how?

Anyone ever traded a domain with someone you didn't know, in a way that was secure? Can you tell how you managed it? I'm about to check into Escrow.com to see if there are options in there concerning it.

I may want to do a transaction involving some cash and a trade, but won't if I don't think it's secure. Thanks for any advice on this.
