Booking.com says their name is not flashy or sexy, so they have a big Booking.Yeah ad campaign with half a million in vacation giveaways.

Do you think it will work? Or confuse consumers?

They currently have a google ad when Booking.Yeah is searched.

Will it launch a new .yeah extension?

Your thoughts?

They certainly score withe Idris Elba as their spokesperson!

Press Release:

ETA ... LOL, I just realized I'm not the first to ask! This is from 2014!

Commercials:

The extended commercial is a little more clear.

Hi

when they stop using .com, then use "dot yeah".... then yeah, it will be confusing.

Strange thing to me is when you key in Booking.yeah, the first thing on the page is an ad for Booking.com - so if ppl click that, they pay for the click. Why not just promote Booking.com and ppl will be directed to the site organically? As it is now, they pay twice for traffic. It just seems like someone did not think this through, or someone in management thinks they know better than their agency.

Idris Elba saying Booking.com ... yeah would have been much better IMO
