Hi! My name is Lionel Houde. I've been in e-commerce for a while but I would really like to get going acquiring and selling domains.

I admit I don't have much experience, aside from reading a 120-page ebook.

I'm uninformed as to the best path I should take, development or flipping. I have a few names that have been gathering dust that I think could get me a few hundred, but I'm basically standing here at the entry of this forum wondering where I should head first.

If anyone had some suggestions as to where to start it would be greatly appreciated. PMs are welcome.

Thanks,

Lionel

You say you're from New Hampshire but South Berwick, as far as I know, is in Maine. :)

I was born and raised in Plaistow, mom was from Somersworth and my dad is from North Berwick. :)

Welcome to the community!

As for where to start, read on these forums. Don't buy any eBooks (most of the information in them you can get for free in here). Read, read, read, read and then relax. When you think you know enough, start over. :)

I live over an antique store in Kingston, are you allowed to have PO Box numbers for WHOIS? The mail situation here is kinda bad as they don't have a mailbox. I do need to update that, thank you and my apologies...

The one that used to be a used car place / flea market on Route 125?

I think you are allowed to have a PO Box number for WhoIs information (I don't see why not).

I'm surprised they turned them into apartments. "The cubes" are much nicer but probabaly more expensive. I grew up about a mile from where you are (maybe two miles).

I lived in Londonderry when I started out domaining, decided that I had enough of snow and high property taxes, so I moved to Florida.....got rid of the snow at least.
Welcome to DNF ...it's a good place to be.

I've always wanted to hit one just to make them change all of the signs. (But that would not only be cruel but I might not survive).

A lot of domainers down here but I miss New England. Day trips to Boston (taking the "T" in from Bradford or just drive down to Malden and take the Orange Line in). I should head up there this fall to see my family but we're broke. :(
