My Norton Internet Security got screwed up this morning and in the process the "Supervisor" password dissapeared. I either can't remeber it or it's also screwed up, either way I can't get into it. I tried to delete/re-install NIS but, of course you can't do that without being logged on as supervisor, lol. Can't manually delete it either. Tried to re-install the NIS-CDrom over top of exsisting, but won't let me do that either without uninstal first, not logged on:(

Any Ideas, is there a file where password is stored? (unlikely)

THanks for any help, $200DNF for sucessful advice

Cheers

Do you have admin rights on this box? Have you tried deleting the folder out of explorer and clearing out any registry settings?

Then reinstall.

Hey Sharps! Sorry to hear about your troubles! :-(

I know that Norton CustSupport is very good, so you might want to try there!

Best of luck!

All is good, I found a "remove NIS.exe" file deep in the bowels of the CDrom, transfered it over, ran it and voila NIS gone, reinstalling now, thanks for your help anyway
