Women search this term to see if a)their symptoms are just that, b)if yes, what can be done about and; and c)younger women may look it up in anticipation and ways to prevent it.

I think it is a money maker because the topic is one of those things you rather not talk about in a cocktail party and easier to be looked up on the net.

menopausal women have hot flushes in England but seem to have hot flashes in America.

presumably hot flashes in sex are revealing glimpses during a strip tease.

I hate Macromedia Flash and all the security risks that go with it, so I won't comment on that.

I would have thought that the most profitable use would be as a site covering some sort of breaking news items.

I think the domain has great inherent value. That is because my gut is that the search hits on it are 100% targeted. That means the searcher probably has a medical problem (menopause), and is seeking medical advice. That medical problem affects approximately 50% of the population.

Also, there are many treatments for hot flashes from home remedies to hormone treatment. Treatment providers are more than willing to pay for a monthly listing on the site – once sold to an end user.

Start by LISTING as $5,000 to an end user – a legitimate treatment provider (aka Doctor, Drug Company) would expect to pay that for such a targeted domain IMO.

Anyway - I like the name. When I saw it my immediate thought was a web site dedicated to the hottest flash sites around.

Winfree - I'm buggered if I can work out what a sexual hot flash is either. I'm racking my brains, but coming up with zilch. Maybe it should be "hot flashers" - a site dedicated to the hottest flashers in history. lol
