I think you are asking people to compare - Name.com vs Godaddy.com

Would help them if you explained what you are looking for i.e cheap prices, hosting etc...

Yes. Compare the two registrar.

I want to put all my domains in one registrar.

I am looking for security, reliable, wont on hold/remove customers domains without notice. Price is not a big problem.

Name.com has Namesafe Vip, which is a verisign vip service. But godaddy is the largest registrar.

If you are looking for security, safety, etc. ... I don't think there is anyone who would suggest GoDaddy ...

But godaddy is the largest registrar.

I don't like the interface of name.com.
Quite confusing.
One example: removing and adding name servers one by one on a domain isn't a well-thought-out process imo.

Check out Moniker.com. I know a lot of people here who swear by them. I have around 100 domains with them and have never had any problems. They also offer confirmation services for any attempt to transfer your domains out, so you can require a phone call to confirm, etc if you want to pay the extra fee.

Name.com is ok for the most part. If you don't mind the GoDaddy upselling, then GD wins.
