How can I get a US domain if I live outside US and without a business there?

Hello everybody, I would like to know if I can really buy US domains if I live in Spain and don0t have a business there but I think those domains can be interesting when selling to my international customers.

Do US authority delete names just for this or not?

Yes they do. Video.us was deleted twice within a few months for that reason.
