How can I make sure that a domain is NOT parked?

How can I make sure a domain is not parked - in any way - not even the registrar's default parking pages?

Create an index.html file with nothing in at at your host or point the A record to 127.0.0.1

Sometimes we overlook the obvious.

I do it frequently.

As you register it, point it to the DNS of your hosting account, a mini-website or just redirect it to another domain.

That's what I did - a page with just "coming soon" on it.
