trying to find out about acquiring a domain but it is protected by some domain protection service

but the number seems to be fake.

8 is citycode of Belmopan and +501 is Belize. Fake whois information.

Also the BELIZEDOMAINWHOISSERVICE.COM has been created in March 2007, so it is more likely someone trying to pretend to be private whois service for his/her own domains.

Ok seriously... you might want to stop being a cheap stake and trying to get everything for free. People are going their way to try to help off little info from you. How bout you put in a little effort especially if the domain means some deal to you. Forgive me... but for someone here since 2003, you should be above this nickle and diming stage.

I agree. Go to www.domaintools.com. Open up an account, and spend a few dollars to get the information you need on the domain. If you aren't even willing to spend what is membership like $15 bucks? Then you aren't serious about this domain and most likely aren't going to get the name even if you get a hold of the owner.

Here's a couple solutions for you too.

Send an email to the domain itself such as [email protected] or support or something like that. Maybe this person has a catch all set up. I do on several of my domains that have the whois hidden for this reason.

Or download "skype" and spend, oh I know, a couple dollars to call that number listed on the whois.

Again, be willing to spend a few bucks if this domain means that much to you. If it doesn't move on and forget about it.
