Hi there,

I guess I really need some help from you.

I want to get a domain that is currently parked by GoDaddy. There's a "domain buy service" that costs $70 + commission but the only thing that GoDaddy does is trying to "contact the owner of the domain".
There's so much negative reviews out there from people trying to get a domain parked by GoDaddy and the only thing they did is take the money and increase the price for the domain over and over again.
I really don't have a huge budget so is there any way to get the domain without wasting a lot of money and without being fooled by GoDaddy?

Really want this specific domain, there must be a safe way to get it since the domain was not used in years.

This is what it looks like:

I'm from Germany btw GoDaddy doesn't seem to have any real customer support around here.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi,

thanks for your reply. But how do I know who owns this domain, whois only says Godaddy so I guess they hide this information on purpose?

Thanks!

Yes they probably use the privacy option..

You can order whois history from reg.com for 3$ per domain name. That can perhaps tell you what the email address was before it went private.. But no guarentees.. And yes as Biggie said; expect to pay more than 70$ for the domain.

you can send email to the privacy email address, if it's shown

i have received some inquires on domains which are on privacy by default, so owner may receive it

now, whether they respond or not, is different story

Good Luck!

imo...
